We have started the carving now …. 2 down and 1 to go. We have decided that the last one we will carve next weekend, since it will be closer to Halloween. The pumpkins we carved tonight will only last maybe a week if we are lucky. However, it is too much fun and we couldn’t wait!

Getting the ooky stuff.
We worked together to get it all done. It is a great family activity. Tonnie, my husband, did the actual cutting, both the tops and where we had the patterns. It was my job to scrap and get most of the seeds and “yucky” stuff out. Isaiah, my son, finished up cleaning out the pumpkin, and to help place the patterns. Once we had the patterns attached and traced, Tonnie cut out the design. He did a great job. They look awesome, take a look:

We have one more pumpkin to do next weekend … What shall it be? I am leaning towards a grim reaper! I will make up my mind this week and post pictures on my Facebook page of what I decide.
